A beginner-friendly introduction to painting landscapes with gouache. If you’ve been painting for a while, this session will help you approach landscapes with more clarity and structure.
What We’ll Do
We’ll begin with an introduction to gouache:
• Understanding the medium and its consistency
• Learning how to control application
• Choosing and working with a limited palette
From there, we’ll sketch and paint a landscape together, step by step. Along the way, we’ll talk about composition, values, and how to approach a scene so it feels balanced and intentional.
This session is both therapeutic and structured, you’ll be painting with gouache while also building practical skills you can apply to future work.

Who is teaching?
Manjari is an architect turned artist and potter who finds joy in playing with color across various mediums. From the fluidity of watercolors to the richness of oils and the versatility of gouache, she embraces anything that brings color to life. Through her art, she explores creativity with curiosity and passion, always seeking new ways to express and inspire.
