If you’ve always wanted to try pottery but didn’t know where to start, this is a great place to experience the craft. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’ll Do</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Over three hours, you’ll learn two foundational handbuilding techniques:</p><p>• Pinch pots</p><p>• Coiling</p><p><br></p><p>I’ll also tell you about the whole process involved in making a pot from start to finish, from a ball of clay to a finished ceramic piece. </p><p><br></p><p>Using just your hands (and minimal tools), you’ll understand how versatile these techniques are as you build a beautiful little vase from scratch, which you’ll take home with you.</p><p><br></p><p>The process is slow, grounding, and deeply therapeutic. Clay has a way of quieting the mind, and this session is designed to let you fully experience that.</p><p><br></p><p>As a special addition, you’ll also get a short, guided experience on the potter’s wheel. If you’ve been curious about how it feels to sit at the wheel and shape clay as it spins, this is your moment. Do just bring yourself.</li><li><strong>Who can participate? </strong>Any beginners from the age of 12 to adults can join.</li><li><strong>Do I get to take home what I make?</strong> Yea, absolutely.</li><li><strong>If I miss the class can I use it for something else? </strong>NO.<strong> </strong>We sell limited tickets. So please understand that we cannot refund, cancel, or transfer your ticket to another workshop. You can at best ask a friend to attend in your place. We cannot and will not offer any solutions for any reason you do not come for the workshop.
