DESCRIPTION :
August 8, Saturday (11am - 1 pm)
Adults ONLY
About the Workshop: Step into the Little Makers Studio laboratory for a two-hour escape from the rigid rules of everyday life. This workshop is designed for any adult who wants to reconnect with their curiosity and play with professional-grade materials without the fear of a "failed" drawing.
We will explore a unique "building block" approach, merging the rhythmic, meditative repetition of Yayoi Kusama with the sophisticated layering and collage techniques of Eric Carle.
What You Will Experience:
* Textural Discovery: Learn to create hand-painted papers using Eric carle’s techniques like watercolor resists and sensory textures.
* The Meditative Dot: Discover why Kusama is the "Queen of Dots" and use her repetitive style to find your own sense of "flow" while enjoying a companionable coffee break.
* Drawing with Scissors: Following the methods of Matisse and Carle, you will learn to reconstruct the world by cutting directly into color and texture to create a final narrative collage.
What is Included:
* All premium art materials (Mixed media papers, tissue paper, artist-grade paints, markers, and tools).
* Light refreshments (Tea/Coffee).
* A restorative environment with curated music and guided instruction.
