DESCRIPTION :

Timing : 2 pm to 6 pm on both days

This two-day urban sketching watercolor workshop will demonstrate the process 

that Hari follows to arrive at a final painting — from planning to execution of a scene.

Day 1

In this session, Hari will explain the methods he uses to achieve the following:

-Perspective (specific to his sketching approach)

-Lighting and how to preserve it

-Working with a limited palette

-Composition, scene selection, and framing

-Coloring — textured vs. flat areas

-Easy ways to handle skies and washes

-General tips and tricks

We will sketch and paint a simple urban scene together.

Day 2

We’ll move on to sketching and painting a relatively complex urban scene.

Throughout these steps, participants are encouraged to ask questions — the session 

will be interactive, with on-the-go clarifications.

During these steps, Hari will give individual attention to each participant, helping them 

achieve their best results and clarifying all doubts and queries.

1. Where is this happening? - this is an offline in-person workshop happening at HTC, Royapettah Chennai. We currently don’t have any online versions
2. Are materials provided? - Yes, all supplies required for the workshop will be provided. So just bring yourself.
3. Who can participate? Any beginners from the age of 12 can join.
4. Do I get to take home what I make? Yeah, absolutely.
5. If I miss the class can I use it for something else? NO. We sell limited tickets. So please understand that we cannot refund, cancel, or transfer your ticket to another workshop. You can at best ask a friend to attend in your place. We cannot and will not offer any solutions for any reason you do not come for
